My name, Jolene, comes from this song my parents used to always listen to on the radio back to when they lived in California. I think they are the one that gave me this passion for travel.

When I was 16, I decided, to be an Exchange student for one year in a American high school and live with an host family. I then attented a business school in France, which allows me to study in Spain for a semester.

In 2016, I turned 23, begin my first « long-internship » and realized that I was about to probably start a professional life where I needed to be at the office everyday at the same time and have a real routine. In the mean time, I learned that I had an orphan disease, and I might loose my sight. At first I got scared, but then I figured out that even if you can’t always control the wind, you can direct your sail. So I thought about what I really wanted to do, and realized that I wanted to live my life my own way. Travel the world, meet people, and create my own project.

That is how I decided to go on an adventure with Maud.
